His debut on the scene was as the lead singer and pianist of Black Veil Brides. He was the first member of the Black Veil Brides, and its sole survivor. Biersack adopted his stage moniker Andy Black, claiming fame as a pioneer in a music genre that was like those from Kiss as well as Motley Crue.
