Harry Edward Styles - also called Harry Styles - is a British musician and composer. Harry Styles has been credited as composing songs to the One Direction band. The son of Des Styles (father) and Anne Cox, Harry Styles was born February 1, 1994, in Holmes Chapel. Harry Styles attended the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive school. There along with three fellow students, he created his musical group, White Eskimo. They won the Battle of Bands in 2009 with their amazing results. Although he has always expressed an interest in the music world, despite his passion for it he wanted also to become a lawyer and physical therapist. In order to support his family, he worked a short time working part-time at a baker's shop. Harry Styles auditioned for The X Factor in 2010, and was a part of Is not She Lovely, the Stevie Wonder song. He got selected. For that reason his band were forced to split. Nicole Scherzinger, the jury member of The X Factor suggested Harry Styles be part of a group called One Direction with Liam Payne Zayn Mlik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne. The creation of the group was a fact in 2010. The five young people were sponsored by Simon Cowell. They performed the song Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would be Sucking Without You as well as Bonnie Tyler Total Eclipse of the Heart. In consequence, they were one of the finalists. However they were 3rd place, behind Rebecca Ferguson and winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles' group didn't win, but Cowell still paid $2 million for One Direction for them to sign a deal with Syco.
